Tokyo Development Learning Center (TDLC)

As a member of the Global Development Learning Network (GDLN), a World Bank initiative, the TDLC provides access to affiliates spanning more than 120 centers worldwide. We work through partnerships with a broad spectrum of organizations both in Japan and abroad to create innovative programs incorporating GDLN videoconferencing services and other technologies.

We are also committed to help disseminate Japanese expertise to the Asia Pacific region, and increasingly to Africa and Latin America. The Japanese government has provided enthusiastic support for the Project with an indicative allocation of US $25 million for a period of five years.

The TDLC also supports the regional GDLN organization, GDLN Asia Pacific, cooperating with other Distance Learning Centers to improve services for the benefit of our partners.
