DRM Session 1 Session 1 focused on post-disaster recovery planning, aiming to share country experiences of past recovery programs from severe natural disasters and draw lessons to improve future recovery planning.
DRM Session 2 The session 2 provided participants with an understanding of catastrophe risk financing frameworks. It aimed to promote new product lines in risk mitigation and risk finance and transfer and share the experiences of Bank-financed risk finance projects.
DRM Session 3 Session 3 focused on local government approaches to disaster risk management. This session provided participants with an understanding of the Climate Resilient Cities Primer.
DRM Session 4 Session 4 will be held on April 28 2009 with focus on housing and community reconstruction after natural disasters.
